Hashtag Furniture is doing everything possible to keep our consumers secure throughout these trying times, and we have stringent policies in effect to protect both our employees and our customers.
Although the service we have is mostly business as normal and serves the majority of the UK, we are presently unable to deliver to such areas such as the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and the Offshore English Isles.
Our warehouse and office are inaccessible to all customers, and we are following a comprehensive cleaning protocol in our warehouse and office. Furthermore, all workers follow our stringent policy, which involves social distancing as well as routine hand washing and sanitization.
Our logistics team often practices social distancing wherever feasible, cleaning their hands more often by using hand sanitizer. Employees and distribution personnel who display or record symptoms of COVID-19, even though it is a minor cough, are urged to return home and self-isolate.
We have had no cases of COVID-19 in our business up to this stage. We trust that the amount of contracted cases in our office and warehouse stays zero as a result of the steps we've put in place. When any of our warehouse or staff members isolates themselves at home, we encourage them to operate remotely from home. We are taking all the necessary steps to ensure our customers still get the products they want.
Steps Taken by our Delivery Team
Our delivery team is well qualified and follows all of the protocols we've developed to keep both them and our customers secure. Among the steps and recommendations that we have implemented are:
- The delivery team always wears gloves and discards them after each delivery.
- The delivery team is expected to wear disposable masks during each delivery.
- The delivery team disinfects their hands as well as all contact points inside the transport vehicle after each shipment.
We are constantly tracking the situation and collaborating with local agencies to improve our operations wherever necessary. We'll contact you before delivery and go through our processes to see if there's something more we can do to keep you secure.
We'll even figure out if you'd like to get your furniture shipped to your doorstep or purchased inside and delivered to the room of your preference.
Procedures for Low-Contact and Contactless Delivery
Please contact us at 07715903585 to let us know about your distribution needs, and we will do our best to meet them. When our delivery team arrives, they will either contact you or knock on the door to let you know they are there.
The delivery crew can then carry the items to the requested space and you may either remain in another room to preserve social distance or follow them into the room if you feel happy doing so. If you selected contactless shipping, we may require you to contact us to confirm receipt of your package.
